Up to 50% life

It all started in March 2020 with this pandemic. Everything went off on a different tangent and as if I fell from a tall building and got stuck midway life has only been up to 50% exciting ever since. The name ‘Up To 50% Life’ comes from my salary which was slashed and my life has never been the same ever since.

In the field of UX and UI, understanding your user is critical. But what if your user is really a figment of your thoughts, never to exist? Or the user you assumed existed never existed. What will my reaction be? The environment I had grown accustomed to was no longer available to me. The new setting consisted of my single bed, a one-bedroom flat, a frugal friend who is a digital screen junkie, and my boyfriend. Yes, in my kitchen, with some potatoes and onions. That was all I had for four months until I was able to return home.

I began to notice everything around me, the people, their lives, the minimal activities I could still participate in, and so on... What was amazing was how my perceptions of folks I thought I know well shifted drastically. These proved to be quite different...

However, I am a glass-half-full kind of man here...
