Too Middle Class?

From 2010 to 2016, I took the local train from my hometown in West Bengal to my beloved Kolkata. When I was in my senior year of high school, I began travelling alone to Kolkata for NIFT coaching. Then it was four years of travelling to NIFT for my undergrads and then going to work in Kolkata. I left the city in 2016 to pursue my master's degree in the United Kingdom. During these journeys, which I didn't enjoy (due to the large crowds and the stench of sweat and urine), I established a habit that has served me well to this day. The habit is to pay attention to others around me. The habit is that of noticing people around me. Simple lives going about doing uncommon things.

I love (and now can't help it) noticing how people behave and react differently to the same situation. For example, I would behave and carry myself in very different ways from a train station to an airport. I am me with the same traits but I react to the environment, people & surroundings and this makes all the difference in the world. Here are some of the habits I have recorded and illustrated.

If you ask me why I choose this style of illustration, I won't be able to give you a convincing response. It's just a style I appreciate, and it makes me feel at ease. As for the spectacles, I have a pair that are comparable to those. Did you notice the males with big bellies in the illustrations? In real life, I share that as well.
